Services are only available by their proxy IP

Hey,
I wanted to test FerrumGate and got the server up and running, connection works fine and services work via their proxy IPs, in my case 172.28.28.x.

But I am unable to reach these services via their local LAN IPs 192.168.11.x.

For example FerrumGate server is 192.168.11.5, Plex is 192.168.11.9. I can remotely reach Plex via 172.28.28.2 once tunnel is up, but not via 192.168.11.9.

I am probably missing some settings or understanding here.
I have tested for example TwinGate and I could reach services by their local IPs when tunnel was up.

Let me know what additional info would be helpful. I didn’t want to dump a lot of screenshots and wall of text of my current config here as I feel like I am missing something simple.

as far as I understand Ferrumgate you can never reach the local ips
only the 172.28.28.x
you can nevertheless setup dns rules that makes the names you normally use redirect to the 172.28.28.x : works like a charm for me.
you need to authorize each and every service: but that is what you want

Thank you for the response.
This makes sense. Twingate is a bit different in this regard. With Ferrumgate there is more setup but better security.
