MacOS Client is damaged

Hello Ferrum Gate Team,
Unfortunately, I cannot open the client on my Mac:
“FerrumGate.app” is damaged and can’t be opened. It is recommended to move the item to the trash.

Is this error known or is there a solution for it?

which mac os version are you using?

We tested on macos catalina. It is working on it. Which MacOS version are using?

Had same issue and I was able to fix it by opening Terminal and entering this :

xattr -rc /Applications/FerrumGate.app

After that the app is opening fine. I’m on macOS Ventura

Hello, thank you very much for the responses. I am using Mac Ventura 13.0.1 (22A400). After I used the command xattr -rc /Applications/FerrumGate.app, the error message no longer appears and a start screen shows up, which disappears after about 20 seconds. In the Activity Monitor, FerumGate and FerumGate Helper are displayed. However, no program appears and there is nothing to see in the tray bar.

Please type on terminal

  • cd /Applications/FerrumGate.app/Contents/MacOs
  • ./FerrumGate

what is the output?

When I launch the app I get an icon Ferrumgate on the top menu where I have a few options like Connect

The problem is about icon sizes. We are working to fix it.
