pfBlockerNG (a package for pfSense) comes with UT1 DNSBL support. It would be great if FerrumGate comes with this list built-in (those URI and categories could come pre-filled but not enabled) to facilitate the usage of this feature. Other software (like SquidGuard) also use this list for DNSBL. FerrumGate could use this list to block DNS categories sites.
For IP Intelligence, it would be great if there could be support for GeoIP location provided by MaxMind, as pfBlocker-NG does. It requires a free API key that can be generated by the user and provided to download their GeoIP list. FerrumGate could use this list to block users from other countries to log/access services or VPN.
Those lists are delivered through FTP, but those kind of URI doesn’t seem to be possible to add on FerrumGate (but there’s also a HTTP mirror available at Index of /blacklists/download). Not sure if the downloader task doesn’t support FTP URI or if it’s a FerrumGate limitation.
pgBlockerNG list make sense, at least we could support a blog about well known list and how to use them with FerrumGate.
FerrumGate supports using maxmind file, we could add maxmind http.
